This is a part-time position for classes that run Monday – Sunday between the times of 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on the weekdays and 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on the weekends at MatchPoint NYC. Other opportunities for additional hours will be available if desired. USPTA/PTR is preferred but not a requirement.

• A wiz at creating daily gamelans.
• A large pool of tennis drills to draw from in order to keep it fresh and exciting for the future stars you will be inspiring in class.
• Comfortable working with small children.
• Thorough knowledge of the game of tennis; USTA curriculum and Tournament Progressions.
• Effective teaching styles and techniques.
• Personally teach on the court and implement our play-based methodology.
• Successful completion of pre-employment basic tennis skills assessment.
• Reports to the assigned site daily, on time, properly attired, and ready to work.
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationship with members and staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner.
• Requires previous experience working with children in a similar setting.
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Assists in court setup and court breakdown, including assisting to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Personally teach on the court and implement our play-based methodology.
• Successful completion of pre-employment basic tennis skills assessment.
• Monitor daily attendance.
